BIO

Michelle Stephen earned her psychology degree from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and is a Certified Addictions Counselor and an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist. Prior to joining PRI staff in 2002, Michelle was an outreach supervisor and was responsible for coordinating outreach prevention and intervention activities for eight high school and middle schools.

Michelle has provided The In-House-Group in many different settings including Adolescent Intervention Programming and Iowa workplaces. Michelle received the “Iowa Juvenile Court Success of our Youth Award” for her work within school based programming. As Director of Training and Development, Michelle coordinates training and support at PRI. She loves to be on a lake on a hot, sunny day or skiing down a mountain in fresh powder in the winter. Michelle is a pilot and hopes to add an instrument or sea plane rating to her license next.
